Oregon Cyber Resilience Summit

Cyber Security in an AI World

Summit 2022

“Building a Strong Cyber Workforce — Women and Diversity in Cybersecurity”

OCRS 2022 built on the success of previous OCRS events by continuing to embrace the “whole community” approach, bringing together the private and public sectors, owners and operators, cybersecurity experts, students, and community members to network and train together to defend our infrastructure from cyber threats. The summit’s 2022 theme was Building a Strong Cyber Workforce — Women and Diversity in Cybersecurity.

Event Location

The event was hosted by the University of Oregon at its Eugene campus, in partnership with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Oregon Department of Justice Titan Fusion Center (OTFC), and the Technology Association of Oregon (TAO).

The event took place in the Ballroom in the EMU. The EMU is located on the corner of 13th Avenue and University Street, 1395 University St., Eugene, OR 97403-1232. For campus parking information, visit Transportation Services. The parking garage located beneath the Ford Alumni Center will be closest to the summit venue.

What Attendees Say

I would recommend this program to others because of the wide range of topics covered in such a short time. There was a session for everyone.

It was very insightful and gave me a larger picture of how security relates to my work.

There is nobody in the local community that is NOT impacted by issues being discussed at the Summit.

I learned how vulnerable networks are to zero-day events, and I learned that CISA provides a tremendous number of services.

The information was both timely and useful and the speakers were excellent. I really appreciated the strategic overview of current actors and threat landscape.

I learned a tremendous amount and became ever more aware of the innumerable threats we face.

Great collaboration and networking opportunity, also a great space to learn from others.

I would recommend this program to others. Great opportunity to enhance your understanding of cybersecurity issues.

Thank you so much for thinking outside of the box and allowing this event to be resilient and happen in 2020! I look forward to future events.
