The Oregon Cybersecurity of Center of Excellence was formed and funded this summer, with passage of Oregon House Bill 2049. This center, jointly operated by Portland State University, Oregon State University, and University of Oregon, will foster and develop cybersecurity workforce development programs, preparedness, and awareness, including a strong focus on underserved organizations and local governments. This panel will cover the goals, missions and near-term activities underway in standing up the center and will discuss how community members and leaders can both benefit from the center, as well as how to get involved.”
