Mark Johnston is the Chief Information Security Officer at TriMet, where he leads cybersecurity strategy and oversees the protection of TriMet’s critical infrastructure. He serves on multiple cybersecurity subcommittees focused on critical infrastructure, with a particular emphasis on transit. Previously, Mark directed cybersecurity for the State of Oregon, managing the Security Operations Center and serving as Information Security Officer for key state health agencies. He holds two patents from his time as Chief Innovation Officer at Xerox Services and is passionate about advancing cybersecurity in transit and other vital infrastructure sectors.
