Josh started his career as a student-worker helpdesk technician at the University of Oregon College of Education in 2009. In 2014 Josh joined a small boutique cybersecurity company in Eugene, Info@Risk, as a part-time application developer; over the next 10 years Josh rapidly advanced within the team, ultimately taking over for the founder. Today, Josh is the Partner in charge of BPM’s cutting-edge cybersecurity team that provides in-depth, rigorous security assessments for organizations of all sizes and industries. By leveraging the latest techniques used by threat actors, BPM provides clients with the insight required to defend their networks, applications, people, and physical buildings against the latest security threats. Josh has expertise in penetration testing, red team operations, adversarial threat assessment, and digital forensics. He has personally conducted over 250 penetration test engagements during his career and is a frequent presenter at industry conferences with objective, educational content.
