Maryann Massoud

Maryann Massoud is a seasoned cybersecurity engineer with over a decade of technical expertise. Her focus is mainly on designing and implementing robust cloud solutions to ensure systems and information confidentiality, integrity, and availability. She is also a US Marine Corps veteran with a multifaceted background in systems engineering. She holds over 20 top industry certifications, including CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP+), Cyber Security Analyst (CySA+), Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO), and Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate.

Currently serving as a Principal Engineer in Solutions Architecture at Dell Technologies, Maryann leads the delivery of proactive cybersecurity services. She leads teams to develop and remediate technical controls in global customer environments. Her extensive experience includes comprehensive management and implementation of the Microsoft 365 stack, proficiency in leading security technologies like CrowdStrike Falcon and VMware Carbon Black, and deep knowledge in enterprise encryption and Linux systems.

Maryann was previously an Engineer on the Cybersecurity Incident Response Team at Dell Technologies. Her skills and abilities required her to promptly mitigate enterprise-level security incidents, leveraging advanced tactics and tools to protect systems and networks.
As a Cyber Instructor within the Department of the Army, Maryann redesigned curricula and delivered instruction to military and DoD personnel. Her military career as a Cyber Network Systems Administrator and Cyber Network Operator with the US Marine Corps honed her skills in configuring and troubleshooting network infrastructure, applying information security strategies, and promoting comprehensive security principles.
She is fluent in Arabic across multiple dialects and is pursuing a Master of Science in Digital Forensics & Cyber Investigation, building on her prior Master of Science in IT Systems Engineering.
